Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 17, 2026 Last updated: October 17, 2026

In short: this website does not use cookies or analytics, and does not collect personal information. Archival Pulse Tools is a private, internal application used only by the channel owner to manage the Archival Pulse YouTube channel. It does not collect data from anyone else.

This policy explains how Archival Pulse (“Archival Pulse”, “we”, “us”) handles information in connection with this website, archivalpulse.com, and the Archival Pulse Tools application. Archival Pulse is an independent, owner-operated history channel; it is not a company or other separate legal entity.

1. This website

  • No cookies, no analytics, no tracking. The site does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. It runs no JavaScript.
  • No forms or accounts. There are no sign-ups, comment forms or user accounts.
  • Hosting. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the pages and protect against abuse. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
  • Web fonts. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers when you visit. See the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Email. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send, and use it only to reply to you. We do not sell it or add you to a mailing list.

2. Archival Pulse Tools and YouTube API Services

Archival Pulse Tools is an internal tool used only by the owner of the Archival Pulse channel. It is not offered to the public, and no other person signs in to it. It uses YouTube API Services to:

  • upload videos, thumbnails and captions to the Archival Pulse YouTube channel, and edit their titles, descriptions, playlists and publishing settings;
  • read the channel’s own YouTube Analytics (for example views, watch time and subscriber counts) to plan future content.

By using Archival Pulse Tools, the user (the channel owner) agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

3. What data the tool accesses

  • OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by Google when the channel owner authorizes the app.
  • Metadata and analytics for the Archival Pulse channel’s own videos.

The tool does not access, collect or store personal information about viewers, commenters or any other YouTube users, and it does not access any channel other than Archival Pulse’s own.

4. How data is stored and shared

  • OAuth tokens and any downloaded analytics are stored locally, on the channel owner’s own computer, in files readable only by the owner. They are not uploaded to a server or database operated by us.
  • We do not sell, rent or share this data with anyone, and do not use it for advertising.
  • Data is kept only as long as it is useful for managing the channel, and the owner can delete the local files at any time.

5. Google API Services User Data Policy

Archival Pulse Tools’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide the channel-management features described above; it is not transferred to others, not used for advertising, not sold, and not read by humans except by the channel owner for managing the channel, or where required for security or by law.

6. Revoking access

Access granted to Archival Pulse Tools can be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Revoking access stops the tool from reaching the YouTube account; locally stored tokens then no longer work and can be deleted.

7. Children

This website and Archival Pulse Tools are not directed to children and do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
